Ascent Trip ReportFirst hike with the Sierra Club, a Wilderness Travel Course conditioning hike. Started from Deukmejian Wilderness Park, ascended via the Rim of the Valley Trail, descended via the Crescenta View Trail (beautiful!). Started at 8, top at noon, down at 2:30. Big group, maybe 30 people, so it was a nice easy hike. Glad I wore long pants, some scratchy plants. Felt great not hiking at altitude! |
