Ascent Trip ReportFrom the SkyFarm Road (found with Google on the Peakbagger app), we walked about 2.3 miles on a forest road through forests of Eucalyptus and saw several Wallaibies. Once we reached the fire tower (closed, with a rock in front of the door), it is about a .4 mile round trip bush-bashing through a forest with some rock hopping to the peak bagger summit.
From what we could see, the fire tower is the actual summit and is higher, but we wanted to check for sure with our altimeter.
Note: The gate below can be locked - we drove in through an open gate, but the gate signage was hidden by the way the gate opened. On our way out, we found the gate to be locked and had to back up about 1/3 mile on a narrow dirt road. We drove up to the Sky Farm, spoke with the farmer - who was quite a nice chap and very pleasant to chat with - he came with us and unlocked the gate.
All in all, a very nice climb and well worth it for the views...
