Ascent Trip Report

Arrived before dawn; slight rain to drizzle. Park has good parking, restrooms, and well maintained trails with excellent signage. So for an urban hike area - great. I started before dawn and the sun sort of rose while hiking. The trails are so well maintained I did not need a head lamp. There are very little way of views especially in foggy drizzle. There is a program to bring back white oak so many trees are cut down to open up the canopy to allow this ecological transition. Some day the hillside will likely be very attractive from this program. But today, in the drizzle pre-dawn with cut trees along the entire way and no views........think I will rate this peakbag a 2 out of 10
