Ascent Trip ReportHiked up the Garvey spring trail up to Sunfish pond. From there I took the turquoise trail to the Sunfish road trail and headed north. There is a small trail to the right about .75 miles. I missed it the first time and hiked all the way to the reservoir dam. I back tracked, found the side trail. Once on this trail you can follow some blue trail markers. From there the trail ends at kittatiny ridge trail. Made a right and followed to the high point. There are some yellow markers every once in awhile.
The entire hike was snow covered and I broke trail. It wasn't that deep, 4-8 inches at various spots. Micro spikes were enough.
Total hike was 7.8 miles. Take off my miss and is probably about 6 miles round trip.
Garvey spring is the shortest way to Sunfish pond, likely the steepest as well.
