Ascent Trip ReportI was invited on a hike at Hawk Mountain by my buddy Shane, and had planned on hiking there at some point in the short time I have left in PA, so I took him up on the offer. The actual summit is just off the trail near the North Lookout. The final section of the trail up to the north lookout is a lot of fun in the snow and ice. Definitely need to use hands to scramble up a few spots. Overall, a very easy but fun winter hike. My first summit of 2010! Pictures |
