Ascent Trip Report

Finding access to this peak was a little tricky, as most of the area is comprised of gated communities, so I drove around until I located a way to access the hill. I parked at the end of De Anza Heights Drive. There is a "trail" next to the fenced off private property. I took that path until it ended, then walked a few steps along a drainage ditch, then got on an adjacent paved road. Not sure where that road starts, as most of the area consists of private property. I walked along the paved road for just a bit, then up a dirt road through the construction zone, which is in the initial stages. The road winds around until it disappears and becomes a use trail, which appears to get a fair amount of use. I took the use trail until it ended on the peak. A pretty easy hike with great views of Lake Puddingstone from the top.
