Ascent Trip ReportDue north of the peak I found a turnoff on the south side of the road, and I parked in a large open area. I got off to a bit of a rough start as I struggled to find a wash that led towards the peak, and I eventually stumbled upon one that took me nearly to the base of the mountain. As the ascent started I angled across a couple other washes so that I could ascend the east side of the gully. Ascending the gully was straightforward, although a few places were heavily overgrown and required miserable bushwhacking. Once at the saddle I continued up the gully to the left. I eventually reached what I believe to be the third-class scramble, but as it turns out, I traversed further to the right and found an easy second-class scramble to the summit. The views were spectacular in all directions. Once out of the gully I followed the same wash the entire way back to my car.
Stats: 1h16m up, 14m at summit, 1h16m down.
