Ascent Trip ReportApproached the trailhead from Lovell Canyon in my Subaru Forester. Succeeded in getting very stuck 1.55 miles up Rocky Gap Rd and decided to call it a day after a friendly Jeeper passed by and winched me out. I would not suggest attempting to make this drive unless you have very high clearance, big offroad tires, and four wheel drive. There are some large unavoidable rocks in the middle of the road, and there are some climbs with soft sand that would stop any two wheel drive car. |
