Ascent Trip ReportParked at the traditional spot although I feel pretty comfortable I could have driven to the second pullout below the final switchbacks. About 8 cars passed me, everyone waved and one guy stopped to make sure my car didn't break down, left with "Enjoy the hike!" Near the summit ran into a Guy in his 60-70s and he says he runs this 4 times a week. He said on the opening of Mt. Um he ran the ridge line from here to there and was told my midpen "not to do that." Overall a short but worthwhile hike with unbelievable views. Happy to finally get the HP of my favorite local range. There were very obvious no trespassing signs especially near the top but I wasn't too worried. Put my hand through the hole and claimed it like all others. :) |
