Ascent Trip ReportMarisa and Levi said, and I quote, "Never coming back here again." I didn't think it was quite that bad. Very very windy day and since we were following a ridgeline every exposed section was freezing and felt like you might get blown right off - calmer conditions would make a great difference in your experience. Typical 2nd class terrain, just need careful footing at some points but not steep or slippery. Very isolated area and the views from the top were fantastic. We were #3-5 to sign the register all year. Camped at Eureka Sand dunes and explored them the day before. Long drive from LA but a really nice weekend.
