Ascent Trip ReportI had a 9:00-10:00am entrance time to Machu Picchu Mountain, so I started walking from Aguas Calientes bus stop at 7:32am. I reached the entrance to Machu Picchu unexpectedly early at 8:23am, so I decided to hike to the Inca Bridge first. I entered Machu Picchu Mountain at 9:06am, ascended countless steep staircases and reached the summit at 9:44am. It was overcast in most directions but the clouds were high enough to give a great view of the ruins. I started descending at 9:55am and signed out at 10:26am. Since I had extra time, I hiked to the Sun Gate, reaching the top at 10:52am. After relaxing for a bit I hiked down, reaching the entrance at 11:32am and the bus stop in Aguas Calientes at 12:19pm.
