Ascent Trip ReportParked at Blue Mountain House/Fort Franklin lot. 6" snow and 24 degrees. Set off through the virgin snow, with only animal tracks around (including bear). The scramble to the top of the county high point was a bit challenging due to the snow, but worth it for the views north. Continued on to Dan's Pulpit. 13 or 14 mile round trip, very pretty, but tough with the snow. |
