Ascent Trip ReportAfter returning to the saddle from 8410, it was a straight-forward hike up to IXL. The visible survey marker, placed in 1972 by helicopter, consists of three wooden 1x12s, nailed together into a triangle. Per the NGS data sheet, the brass benchmark is buried several inches underground. Outstanding views of Silver and Raymond.
