Ascent Trip Report

Took Tarryall Road to the FR 212 and drove up the forest road to a large parking area where the road transitions from SUV high clearance road to 4x4 and ATV rough road. Easy hike up the road with guns being shot all around me (target shooting) and ATVs enjoy riding. Wearing an orange cap would be prudent in this area. Once near the summit the last part of the hike is an easy walk up the saddle of grass. You pass several fire rings but not trails. OK views from summit but lots of trees. Not the most exciting hike but 400 feet of prominence so.........

I bushwhacked the slops back to make it more interesting than sharing the steep road with ATVs
