Ascent Trip Report

My trip began by hiking up Knob Mountain in order to camp in the bottom of Jeremy's Run. I have a hiking guide book that recommends this trail, and it is a great day hike or overnight backpack. The steepest part of the trail is just after the stream crossing up to the ridge. The northeast ridge is pretty level. After the summit, dropping down the south ridge is much steeper but not difficult. Crossing Jeremy's Run at the bottom is a real challenge (at least it was after a few days of rain). I made it across without getting wet and made camp about a mile up the trail. Pics
