Ascent Trip ReportPart of a 2 peak day scramble adventure, Hoodo and Raven Ridge (Libby Peak). Libby Lake Trail is in great shape no blowdowns. Road to trailhead is relatively good shape, washboard and potholes here and there. Larches are out in full swing. As for the scramble of Libby Peak, from the cabin take the left trail to Libby Lake. Once on the lake, there are several gullies to gain the ridge, we took a gully to the right of the widest gully. A lot of lose rock and lose boulders on this approach, very umpleasant. Once on the ridge follow it to the left all the way to the tallest of the summits, it's pretty obvious to see the tallest of the summits. There is a tiny summit register, but no pencil/pen. As these gullies are in the north side of the peak they're already covered in snow so it makes for an extra slippery en devour. Our stats for the day for both peaks were 15.9 miles and 7060 feet elevation gain.
