Ascent Trip ReportHiked alone. Was going to take snowmobile trail with the orange blazes up but a large white dog decided he wasn't okay with that. Opted for the road to the towers. Found the cairn and left. There is debate over the high point, some say cairn some say another part by tower 17. Found a trip report that said before construction cairn was highest and now after construction is still 10-15 feet higher. Apparently someone brought a level up and determined the cairn is still king! Didn't like all the signs advising me that I would be prosecuted so I took the cairn and left. |
