Ascent Trip ReportEarly season snowstorms shut down Tioga, Ebbets and Sonora Passes...we wanted to do Mt Lewis in Yosemite but swapped that for Glass. After many hours of driving we started in 32 degree temps.
After the first 500 feet it was all snow, we lost the trail on the way up but it worked out fine. Temps dipped into the mid 20s, with low clouds, flurries and blowing ice crystals. It was darn cold. The route was steep, then on descent we found the trail and followed it all the way down.
The road in is excellent.
