Above Moab in the La Sal Mountains and just West of Mount Peale, is Mount Tukuhnikivatz or as the locals call it, just "Tuk" with elevation 12,482 ft., merely 200 feet lower than Peale. Local friend first mentioned Tuk when I asked her advice about climbing Peale couple years back. In fact she encouraged me to try to complete the "La Sal Beat-out".. basically tagging all the 12'ers in the La Sals in single or consecutive multi-day excursion. That's still on the list.
