Ascent Trip Report

Drove down Pine Canyon Road (N2) to near mile marker 13.6, where a short dirt road on the south leads to parking for PCR access. The road is rough and not suitable for a 2WD sedan. Followed PCT to summit. Nice trail with lots of shade both from pines initially and then oak trees. The gnats were thick, so have a bug net at the ready. Had some trouble finding the summit register. Returned back down the PCT.
