Ascent Trip Report

Parked Jeep Wrangler at end of Jeep trail at 13800. Easy to find flat horizontal parking spot. Hiked up the spicy but easy ridge trail up Antero with nice views of surroundings. My stock 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, manual, 2-door, made it up Jeep trail with no problems. The last .6 mile of the drive is very steep and a bit loose and dusty, and it is best to have a rig with a locker on rear differential. We saw a Nissan Extera, other Wranglers, FJ Cruiser and other Tacos, and ORV's. This ascent is boosted to a '5' based on the fact that I can park at 13800. ;-)
