|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||965 ft / 294 m|
Ascent Trip ReportParked at the entrance to the permissive path 250m south of Shoal Banks. Followed the permissive path roughly as shown as a track on the OS to the public footpath south of Shoal Banks. Continued on this path up as it bends to the left. A couple of hundred metres beyond it switches back to the right on the final rise to a marker post. The trig (not the high point is to the left and was almost swallowed up in bracken on our visit). The "summit" is straight on and then to the right. Difficult to discern as the knee high bracken hid the ground beneath. A bit of wandering around, GPS in hand, located the high point and giving a reading about 4m higher than the hill-bagging.co.uk figure. Returned the same route. 1hr 5 minutes round trip.
