Ascent Trip ReportBack to Ruth Mountain after an unsuccessful summit attempt this past May due to poor snow conditions and loose wet avalanches. Trail was in great condition up to Hannegan Pass. The scramble up the ridge to point 5930' was difficult due to slick conditions and slippery conditions of the trail. Once traversing point 5930' the trail was in good condition and he the route clearly marked. At the base of Ruth we geared up and headed for the summit. There are a couple of crevasses on the face of the mountain the only one that we had to avoid was near the summit but was easily passable. Over all a great one-day climb!
