Ascent Trip ReportHiked with Mason. Started at 844am and reached the summit at 938. Read reports of how hard the hike was and it was a pretty good hike. Definitely muddy after a few days of storms. The cabin was pretty destroyed and had initials all over it. The tower was also beat up and I only went up to the 4th platform since it was windy and there was a section of fencing missing. There was a fire pit at the summit and no view either. It was pretty foggy so I could only make out a few outlines of mountains from the platform. Overall a good hike. Left after maybe 10 minutes since there were supposed to be thunderstorms at some point. But the weather held up even though it was so humid. Fire tower challenge 9/30 completed.
