Ascent of Rossiter Hill on 2017-08-06Date: | Sunday, August 6, 2017 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Rossiter Hill | Location: | Canada-New Brunswick | Elevation: | 1247 ft / 380 m |
Ascent Trip ReportHiked in from Caribou Plain. Walked the trail, found an old trail leading in the general direction of the high point, then bushwacked. The summit is obvious, I figured it was the highest stone at the base of a large tree. Of note, there should be a trail here, as it is the highest point in a national park. Additionally, it is named after a soldier from the nearby town of Alma who died in the First World War. |
