Ascent Trip ReportJumped in the wrong couloir (of course). I jumped in the one one over to the west. Lots of 3rd class. fun. at the top, when I confirmed that I needed to be further east, I bailed out to get in the correct couloir to the east by climbing about 200 of 4th class. I was relieved when I got to the ridge and found that i had rejoined the correct route. from there the rest of the climb on the real east ridge was walk up. In retrospect I discovered that I could have just continued up the col I was in to the ridge, then it was just a 10 foot easy 5th class move to get over the ridge, I think that would have been better than the ledges on the face I did. oh well. Forest fires brought in smoke. Even with wrong route, still took only 4.5 hrs. Would have probably been sub 4 if I had gotten the right col. And on the way down I managed to lose the correct col again, and just down climbed some trees. What a labyrinth.
