Ascent Trip Report

MONT BELL ... snowshoe trail swb, .8km, 30 minutes RT.
From JCT 117/113 (28km east ot Val-Dor's most eastern Round-About on 117) I went north on 113 for 37km to a right turn on Rue du Parc in Senneterre (this is just past the post office with lake on right side). I zeroed my odo.
0.0km ... JCT 113/Rue du Parc, drove south on Rue du Parc.
1.4km ... turned right (southeast) on Chemin du Mont Bell.
3.2km ... turned right (south) on Montee de La Tour
4.3km ... at right bend turned left (south) on chemin de Penetration. Right continues .4km to a summit with old buildings (military like???), communication towers and a small lookout platform.
4.6km ... dead end, I parked on the left side of the large building "Club de Tir Senneterre Inc", Communication Tower beyond. Straight ahead of my parking spot is a sign "Snowshoe Trail".

The HP is to the southwest at 400 meters. The small Trail (nicely signed) follows the very interesting/rough rocky ridge (few ups and downs) directly to the obvious HP (48.35580,-77.22710) - a beautiful rock outcrop (moss/lichen covered with blue berry bushes) with a BM on a 6" steel pipe "QUEBEC PHOTOGRAMNETRIE".
A worth while visit with views.

I drove to Val-Dor for the night.
