Ascent Trip Report12.4 mile loop hike up the Nineteen Mile Brook Trail to Carter Dome Trail to Carter-Moriah Trail to bag South Carter Mountain; rock cairn marking summit about 10 yards off trail. My second time reaching this peak; #40 4000 Footer for Nancy. Then continued on to Middle Carter Mountain, passing right over summit- no marker; #41 4000 Footer for Nancy. On to North Carter Trail to Imp Trail heading back down to route 16; then 1.5 mile walk on road back to car to complete 12.4 mile loop. |
