Ascent Trip ReportA quiet Sunday morning walk up Loma Prieta, then cut through burnt forest to connect with the road to Crystal Peak and Mt Chual. Was stopped on the return trip by a MROSD ranger who drove up from behind. She warned me that I could be ticketed, but would let it go since I was on my way out and promised not to come back. I mentioned that someone on the internet claimed the road itself was public, but she didn't find that very persuasive. |
