Ascent of Mount Bonaparte on 2017-07-09
|Date:||Sunday, July 9, 2017|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||Car|
| Elevation:||7257 ft / 2211 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThis was a great climb, but one of the most mosquito-infested of my sordid career. We went up in the morning before the heat set in, and the bugs were thick and aggressive. Views from the top were nice, though the western horizon was thoroughly obscured by smoke. She's a good-looking mountain. I'd like to come back in winter sometime.
