Ascent of South Wigwam on 2017-07-02
|Date:||Sunday, July 2, 2017|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||10840 ft / 3304 m|
Ascent Trip ReportVery cool climb in an area so close to the heavy traffic of Cascade Canyon, yet the feeling of remoteness prevails. If there weren't for a cairn on the summit, there would be no trace of human traffic at all. The view captures the majesty of Table Mountain and Paintbrush Divide simultaneously, and one of the range's more impressive hanging snowfields lies directly below. Honestly, this could be one of the better summit views in the Tetons, period. We also had a phenomenal glissade on the way out to cap off the day. A perfect Teton outing!
