Ascent Trip Report

I parked on Fort Point Road, in a pull off area about 100 feet West of House #141. I crossed the street and started bushwhacking from there, following the ridge and trying to outrun the horseflies. I quickly found the Ridge Trail, and quickly followed it to the summit. the Ridge is impressively narrow in places, and the trail is well taken care of. Only a few partial views through the trees. The Ridge trail continues North over the summit. I didn't follow it because my hamstring was begging me to stop. I followed the ridge trail all the way down, and it comes out on Black Point Road, a few hundred feet past the NO TREASPASSING sign. The woods where I entered were not posted, so I wasn't worried about the sign, I didn't see anyone anyway. Back out to the car on the road.
