Ascent Trip Report

GPS track is from bottom of Mills E Couloir to Abbot only. A fine peak to make for a 2 peak SPS day from our camp. Abbot was significantly more enjoyable than Mills. Because of the above average snowfall in 2017, this peak was easier to transition from pleasant snow climbing to the 2nd-3rd class rock than other parties on low snow years may have encountered. Keep you eyes open for the zig zag as you move up the ridge to the easy and enjoyable knife-edge portion of the ridge. Above this portion is easy class 1 walking to the top. Pics
