Ascent Trip Report

Freedom Peak - Three Brothers - Navaho Peak loop trip

Great spring trip with wild flowers galore! Longer and more elevation gain than expected. Three Brothers does not have much to offer and is not worth the effort except when checking it off the list. The ridge line from Freedom Peak to Navaho Peak offers very interesting rock formations and the ridge hike is very pleasant. Once I left the main trail (Navaho Peak trail) I did not run into anybody else until I reached Navaho Peak. Enjoyed the solitude. Unless Three Brothers needs to be checked off I highly recommend this loop without the side trip to Three Brothers.
