Ascent Trip Report

Peak 1 of 3
Yorkshire 3 peak challenge anti clockwise Pen-y-ghent to Whernside to Ingleborough.
Camping at Holme Farm in Horton in Ribblesdale. Two nights camping. Friday before and Saturday after.

On Saturday 24th at around 4am I saw Sunrise of Pen-y-ghent.

Started from Holme Farm just after 6aM. Looking up we could see that the cloud base was just below the summit of Pen-y-ghent. There were queues at scramble section going up. The summit was crowded and in the clouds.
