Ascent Trip Report

After doing the tower (Mount Falcon) and enjoying seeing no less than 8 chipmunks, 1 vole, 3 rabbits, 3 huge mice (or rats), 3 lizards, and one deer - I headed over to check out the USGS point 7780. The Old Ute Trail nearly climbs to this subpeak summit but slides around it and never allows you the summit. The rocky class 2+ to a few moves of 3 bushwhack was too tempting so I grabbed this small 190 foot prominence subpeak for fun and solitude. Not a person around.
