Ascent Trip Report

Nice clear day out. Started the hike in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park on the Goodspeed trail to the Nattkemper Trail. It was very hot out and probably not a smart idea as most of the trail was exposed, temps ended up hitting 102F. I hiked up and over the mountain and followed the trail to the Pythian Parking Lot. Spotted a few hummingbirds, a yellow striped black mountain garter snake, and plenty of lizards. Only 3 other people spotted on the trail all day.
