Ascent Trip Report

As part of Mountaineers group. Hiked to Mary Peak and had lunch. Did some self arrest practice then scrambled the ridgeline towards Bean Peak until we ran out of time.

We brought water shoes for the creek crossing about 1/2 mile above the parking lot. No way you could cross that without your boots getting soaked. And with the water moving fast and above knee level, it was nice to have more traction than just bare feet.
