Ascent of Double Mountain on 2017-05-07
|Other People:||Solo Ascent|
Only Party on Mountain
|Date:||Sunday, May 7, 2017|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||7981 ft / 2432 m|
Ascent Trip ReportIt snowed significantly the night before. There was maybe 4-6" above 7000'. This made it slow going when going up and down Tehachapi. The trail appears to be pretty well maintained all the way to the summit of Tehachapi, and no "No Tresspassing" signs were encountered the entire way except for on the radio towers on the south summit of Double Mountain.
