Ascent Trip Report

We started at 14:00 on the Friday and almost made it to Century Hut. Woke up the next morning to a mist-covered landscape and climbed to Injisuthi peak via Corner Pass - without a rope, but a belt came in handy. Once on the escarpment, and above the clouds, we saw the sun for the fist time. During the night the mercury dropped to about -5º and if not for the OBS it would have been much worse. Sunday morning started with a perfect sunrise and breakfast at Mafadi. We made our way down Leslie's Pass, passed Marble Baths, and spent the night next to the river under a perfect starry night sky. The next morning we did a quick hike back to Injisuthi Camp.
