Ascent Trip ReportEasy. The highpoint is owned by the Newport Water District, big water towers visible from far away. Stop at the office, introduce yourself, ask if its OK to walk around the E side of the building and up a hundred yards past the water towers to the grassy high ground. They had no problem whatsoever with us being there. Look for the small stone monument in the far corner by the stone wall fence. Seems as high as anywhere else around there. In and Out, including stopping inside, in about 15 minutes. Not a great view, houses and trees in the way. Land is probably re-worked some, but no other ground is as high.
