Ascent Trip Report

Solo climbed Mt. Stuart via the Cascadian Couloir over the last weekend in July. A fantastic couple of days in the backcountry. Night hike in to Longs Pass with a campsite directly on top of the pass. Early morning hike down and across Ingall's Creek, and up the gully, which was steep, sandy and difficult. Climbed the snow slopes to the rocky terrain and was the first to reach the summit (!) on Sunday morning. Hiked out and met some nice people too.
