Ascent Trip Reportgreen grass, occasional flowers, reasonable temperature, and relatively clear sky. the conditions were good.
i wouldn't want to attempt this trail when the ground is wet: too much clay in the soil. i also wouldn't want to attempt this trail when the creek is flowing hard: you have to cross it at least a half dozen times. there's water at several further places along the trail as well, i refilled in green canyon on the way back.
my least favourite part of the trail is the long side-hill below blue ridge: i'm guessing this is necessitated by the easement, and sticking to BLM land. it's too bad, because the ridge is probably a much nicer hike.
