Ascent Trip Report

I climbed this hill on the way back from watching my daugher's CC meet. I parked in the lot and walked into the main lodge to ask permission to hike up the slope. It took a couple of minutes to convince the older lady at the desk that I was NOT the Eric Brown that was the head of the Ski Patrol. I should have just agreed. I think she was not completely convinced. She kept making comments like "It's nice to finally put a face to the name" ??????? Really???

There was a mowed path straight up to the summit. It made for a nice little workout. The steepest incline I had been on since Hogback. The view from the top was nice. It is amazing how as little as 200+ feet of prominence can have on this flatland I call home. I hiked down the back ridge to the lot and back in the car. .86 mile round trip according to the Garmin.
