Ascent Trip Report

From the Meyers Cabin saddle I headed up the ridge to Peak 10210 then onto Vicks Peak. Expect to drop about 100 feet between these two peaks due to a saddle. I returned pretty much the same way although I stayed more to the east which offers better hiking terrain. I also bypassed Peak 10200. After arriving at Meyers Cabin saddle I picked up TR-50 and returned to Summertime CG using TR-50 and TR-43.

If I had to do all over again I would have ascended and descended both Vicks and San Mateo Peaks from the FR-377 trail head. The map shows the TH at about 7400 feet in elevation and a pretty much a steady climb to the Meyers Cabin saddle at 9500 feet. The access road may be an issue though depending on condition.
