Ascent Trip ReportAfter bagging Hernandez Peak, my son, Marshall and I hiked just .25 miles to this high point, which only took 9 minutes, even though it did involve some bushwhacking. There are yellow forest boundary signs nailed to trees, so it is easy to know when you have reached the edge of the National Forest, but it is an unimpressive area with no view and no definite high point. We just took our victory photo at the closest National Forest sign closest to the Peakbagger coordinates. From here we hiked to McDill Point, which was only .4 miles to the west.
