Ascent Trip ReportUsual issue with the GPS batteries. Replaced them on the first minor summit... We started from the Tung Chung MRT station and did a one way hike to Ngong Ping. From Ngong Ping (tourist trap), we took Bus #23 (HK$17, ~25 min) back to Tung Chung to get a late lunch and catch the MRT back to Kowloon. I was recovering from a pretty bad cold and living on a ship, so we did not move our fastest... Second peak is Sunset Pk on the map, all the trail signs, and the signs on the summit. Not sure where that other name came from... Lantau Pk seemed to be the most popular/crowded. We had the first peak to ourselves. Sunset Pk had 3-4 people on it. Lantau had at least a dozen others.
Pics from the whole hike.
