Ascent Trip ReportPlanned to stay at Swallow Rock Campground and hike the network of trails to the top. We were still exhausted from the Mt. Rogers Hike, so we did the drive up to the parking lot and the .2 mile trek to the tower. It was super cold out. We climbed to the top of the tower, and while looking around I spotted the marker in the walkway on the ground. Took some pictures and headed back to the car. Glad we did this because of snow and temperature, but would like to comeback and do the long trip someday.
