Ascent Trip ReportFollowed roads into the canyon separating Mustang Peak to the north, the range highpoint to the south. At road's end, we followed lesser tracks, then steep grass slopes onto the north ridge, and from there, to the top. No navigation problems. The top couple hundred feet is forested and rocky. It can be thick, branchy, steep and loose, but it's quick.
Much prettier range than you'd think. We were all pleasantly surprised.
