Ascent Trip Report

I followed the usual route - to the Yaquitepec site, then boulder-hopping to the summit. Yes, there are about 4 false summits, but the real one has a big rounded boulder so it's obvious once you see it from a distance. It's an easy scramble to get on top this boulder.

Rocks along ridge are granite and set solid, close enough to hop from one to the other for hundreds of feet at a time. On the rare occasion I needed to step onto dirt, the going was easy except for the occasional thick agave.
